The reductions are made of high-density polyethylene compound type PE100, black in color. The PE100 compound is a homogeneous mixture of polyethylene, antioxidants, ...pigments and stabilizers against the action of UV radiation. The raw material PE100 is in accordance with SR ISO 4427-1 and SR EN 12201-1 standards. Manufacturing The reductions are obtained from mechanically processed extruded or injected semi-finished products. Reference standard SR EN 12201-3: Sewerage systems made of plastic materials, for water supply, connections and exhaust systems under polyethylene (PE) pressure. Part 3 Connections. Use in potable water supply networks with operating pressure PN 10 bar, installed buried in the ground. The service life is 50 years, corresponding to a use temperature of 20C and a working pressure equal to or lower than the PN for which the fitting was manufactured.
