Since 1996, Valrom has become a benchmark in the networtk and installation solutions industry, gradually building a solid ecosystem of production, logistics, research and partnership. Over the course of three decades, we have grown organically, but strategically: we extended our production capacity, diversified our portfolio, optimized our proccesses and started an internal infrastructure which allows us to respond quickly and efficiently to market challenges. We have invested in modern technology, industrial know – how and the formation of a multidisciplinary team, capable of supporting both local market needs and the demands of fastidious international partners.

At the core of our development is a commitment to quality and innovation but also our pledge to deliver solutions with real impact on communities: weather we are talking about water, gas, sewerage, heating or filtration, each system is designed to bring performance, safety and durability over time. We have continuously reconfigured the way we understand infrastrucure and we redefined the manufacturer’s role – not just as a products’ supplier but as a trustworthy partner in all phases of a project

Valrom Industry establishment

This is the foundation of a vision that would redefine the infrastructure solutions market. Valrom Indstry is established in Bucharest, in times of economic transition, with the purpose of manufacturing pipes and systems for urban networks, building the foundation of a company which would become a regional benchmark in the installations industry.

ISO 9001 Certification

Valrom attains ISO 9001 Certification, an important step in professionalizing the internal process and consolidate partners’ trust. This was the first strategic step to align at the international quality standards and to guarantee traceability and strict control of every production phase. Obtaining this certificate marks the transition from a developing company to a player ready for expansion and major partnerships.

The factory triples its surface area and moves into a new location, thus gaining a lot of expanding opportunities

Valpast Industry is launching

A new production unit is born, dedicated to PVC solutions, for urban and civil infrastructure. This strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to supply the market’s demand with sustainable, standardized products, tailored increasingly complex needs of the construction industry. Quickly, Valplast becomes an important pillar for Valrom’s portfolio development, contributing to the internal growth, the diversification of the systems range for water and sewerage network and the consolidation of its presence in the urban solutions sector in Romania.

Modernizarea tehnologiei de producție

New production lines acquisition for manufacturing polypropylene random PP-R pipes (VALDuotherm) and reticulated polyethylene PE-Xb (VALThermio) pipes for heating installation.

Implementing a new manufacturing technology – Rotomoulding

Tank and sewer manholes manufacturing starts, using rotational molding technology.

Expanding production internationally

Valrom Ukraine factory is established, consolidating the group’s presence on an international level; new opportunities and perspectives arise.

Rotoforming capacity doubles

The rotomolding department moves to a new, much larger location, marking the launch of the first dual-chamber wastewater treatment plant for domestic use (VALCleanio).

Automatization and technologizing

Modernizing automatic production lines for manufacturing high density polyethylene pipes, in multiple layers (WaterPRO, GasPRO). This technology increases product life, through high resistance to scratching and perforation, during the handling, transportation and assembling process.

Opening of the drinking water filter production department

Launching innovating systems for treating and filtering water for households and industrial users. (VALHOH). These solutions are the answers to a growing demand regarding water quality and sustenability, integrating modern technologies and materials, according to international standards.

Storage capacity expansion

New storage space acquisition which enabled doubling the production area and increasing product storage capacity fivefold.

Logistics and operational optimization through digitalization

Implementing ERP SAP S4/HANA system, along with a new integrated WMS (Warehouse Management System), thus optimizing the entire operational and logistic chain. This transition marks an important step in the company’s digitalization, securing complete traceability, efficient inventory management and advanced control of production and delivery process.

Sanitary protection

During COVID19 pandemic, a new unit is established – manufacturing respiratory protection masks.

Production capacity production

Investment in modern infrastructure through acquiring and commissioning of a new state-of-the-art production line, dedicated manufacturing of pipes up to 1200 mm diameters. This production line brings more efficiency, flexibility and adapting capacity to large projects from infrastructure and civil construction, for complex applications.

Investments in green energy

Completing the photovoltaic panels installation project, an investment with an annual estimated production of 3.000 MWh, carried out in several units across the country. This system significantly contributes to reducing the company’s carbon print and to gaining energetic independence.

Fusion and rebranding

Valrom starts the absorbing process of Valplast Industry, a strategic step meant to consolidate its position on the market, to optimize the operational synergy and to expand the product portfolio. The fusion reflects Valrom’s commitment to build a unified brand, stronger and more coherent, regarding the present market demands.

At the same time, an extensive rebranding process is being launched, aligning visual identity and systems names with the new communication and development strategy. This step marks a new stage in the company’s evolution, with a focus on clarity, consistency and future orientation.
