Since 1996, Valrom has become a benchmark in the networtk and installation solutions industry, gradually building a solid ecosystem of production, logistics, research and partnership.
Over the course of almost three decades, we have grown organically, but strategically: we extended our production capacity, diversified our product portfolio, optimized our proccesses and laid the foundations of an internal infrastructure which allows us to respond quickly and efficiently to market challenges. We have invested in modern technology, industrial know – how and the formation of a multidisciplinary team, capable of supporting both local market needs and the demands of fastidious international partners.
At the core of our development is a commitment to quality and innovation but also our pledge to deliver solutions with real impact on communities: weather we are talking about water, sewerage, gas, heating or filtration, each system is designed to bring performance, safety and durability over time. We have continuously reconfigured the way we understand infrastrucure and we redefined the manufacturer’s role – not just as a products’ supplier but as a trustworthy partner in all phases of a project.
Today, Valrom means more that a factory. It is an integrated center of competence, a national logistic network and a brand that grows alongside the market. This is proof that an invisible well – designed infrastructure can bring visible comfort for present and future generations.

Valrom Industry establishment
ISO 9001 certification
Valrom obtains ISO 9001 certification, an important milestone in professionalizing internal processes and strengthening partners’ trust. It was the first strategic step toward aligning with international quality standards, guaranteeing traceability and rigorous control of every stage in production. Securing this certificate marks the shift from a developing company to a player ready for expansion and major partnerships.
Production capacity expansion
The factory triples its footprint by moving to a new location, which opened up multiple development opportunities.
Valplast Industry launch
A new production unit dedicated to PVC solutions for utility and civil infrastructure. This strategic step reflects the company’s commitment to meet market requirements with durable, standardized products adapted to the increasingly complex needs in construction. Valplast quickly becomes an important pillar in Valrom’s portfolio development, contributing to increased internal production, diversification of the range of systems for water and sewerage networks, and strengthening presence in Romania’s utility solutions sector. 
Production technology modernization
The acquisition of new manufacturing lines for producing random polypropylene PP-R pipes (VALDuotherm) and cross-linked polyethylene PE-Xb pipes (VALThermio) for heating installations.
Implementation of a new manufacturing technology – Rotomoulding
Production starts for tanks and sewer manholes manufactured using rotoforming technology.
International production expansion
The Valrom Ukraine factory is established, strengthening the group’s international presence and opening new perspectives and development opportunities.
Rotomolding capacity doubles
The Rotomolding department moves into a new, much larger factory, on which occasion the first two-chamber wastewater treatment plant for household use (VALCleanio) is launched.
Automation and technologization
Modernization of automated production lines that allowed us to produce high-density polyethylene pipes, in multiple layers (WaterPRO, GasPRO). This technology increases product lifespan through high resistance to scratching or puncturing during handling, transport and installation processes.
Opening of the drinking water filter production department
Launch of innovative water treatment and filtration systems for household and industrial users (VALHOH). These solutions meet the growing requirements for water quality and sustainability, integrating modern technologies and materials compliant with international standards.
Storage capacity expansion
The acquisition of a new storage space that enabled doubling the production area and a fivefold increase in product storage capacity.
Logistics and operational optimization through digitalization
Implementation of the SAP S4/HANA ERP system, alongside a new integrated WMS (Warehouse Management System), thus optimizing the entire operational and logistics chain. This transition marks an important step in the company’s digitalization, ensuring full traceability, efficient inventory management and advanced control of production and delivery processes.
Health protection
In the context of the COVID19 pandemic, the department for producing respiratory protection masks is established.
Production capacity expansion
Investment in modernizing infrastructure through the acquisition and commissioning of a new, state-of-the-art production line dedicated to manufacturing pipes with diameters up to 1200 mm. This line brings added efficiency, flexibility and the ability to adapt to large-scale infrastructure and civil construction projects, for complex applications.
Green energy investments
Completion of the photovoltaic panel installation project, an investment with an estimated annual output of 3,000 MWh, carried out across multiple sites nationwide. This system contributes significantly to reducing the carbon footprint and to the company’s energy independence.
Rebranding
We are evolving to be closer to our partners! Valrom announces a major rebranding process, designed to reflect our modern vision and the expansion of the portfolio by including the VALPlast solutions range.
This transformation is not only visual, but also structural: we harmonize VALPlast systems within the new Valrom identity to ensure unified communication and a simplified customer experience. It is a decisive step toward a future built on innovation, where portfolio clarity supports our long-term performance objectives.
Merger
Through the completion of the merger by absorption of VALPlast, Valrom Industry strengthens its leading position, unifying strategic resources and an extended product portfolio under the same umbrella. This completed integration process represents the transition to an optimized operational structure, capable of generating added value for partners and supporting the group’s long-term expansion objectives.
30 YEARS
