5. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

Some services offered through the Valrom website require the processing of personal data. Valrom Industrie SRL, as controller, processes the data exclusively for the specific purpose for which they were collected.

Handling requests or complaints – we use your data to respond to the requests or complaints you send us – the data processed are your identification data (e.g. name, surname, e-mail), as well as other personal data that you may provide us directly, as necessary, in order to fulfill your request. The basis for processing in this case is legitimate interest – Art. 6 para. (1) lit. f) of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016.

Sending newsletters, marketing communications to promote our products – you have the possibility to receive, on request, email notifications about our products, promotions – your email address will be processed for this purpose, based on your consent – Art. 6 para. (1) lit. a) of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016.

Online recruitment – in order to quickly and efficiently submit your application for one of the vacant positions at Valrom, we will collect your identification data (name, surname, telephone, e-mail), as well as the personal data contained in your CV (home address, date of birth, education, etc.). The basis for the processing is the steps taken at the candidate’s request prior to the conclusion of the individual employment contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. (1) lit. b) of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016, as well as your consent to the processing of your personal data after the initial recruitment process has been completed, which did not result in the conclusion of an individual employment contract – Art. 6 para. (1) lit. a) of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016.
Participation in the “Reward me, Valrom!” campaign – in order to create an account as a participant in the campaign, certain personal data will be required in order to identify you (name, surname, name of the company you represent, address, telephone number, e-mail address), in accordance with the campaign rules. These data are processed on the basis of your consent – Art. 6 para. (1) lit. a) of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016.
Consumer profiling – for profiling activities based on consumption habits and on data and information acquired through the use of the products or services used, personal data provided by you (name, surname, postal address, telephone, e-mail, purchasing habits) will be used, only on the basis of your consent – Art. 6 para. (1) lit. a) of Regulation (EU) No 679/2016.

6. TO WHOM WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA

Valrom Industrie S.R.L. will not sell, trade or rent your personal information. Your data will not be passed on to third parties, unless Valrom Industrie S.R.L. is legally obliged to do so.

Your personal data may be transferred to partners/service providers (postal, IT, etc.), who act as Valrom’s data processors. They are obliged to comply with the instructions provided by the data controller with regard to the processing of personal data. This information is transmitted/stored and processed in Romania for the purpose of improving our services, i.e. to be able to respond to your requests.

7. HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR DATA

Your personal data is collected and processed for as long as you visit our website or have an account on it.

Thus, we will not keep your personal information longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it is collected and only in compliance with applicable legal provisions. Personal data will also no longer be stored if you request deletion of your account.

After deleting your account, the personal data collected will be deleted within 30 days.

In this case, we will provide you with a copy of your personal data. For any other copies requested by you, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.
