Since March 2020—right from the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic 🦠—the Our Grandparents Project has been safely donating and delivering food and hygiene products to seniors and people in vulnerable communities. The beneficiary lists were compiled with the help of the SNK Association’s partners and the authorities, and the project’s aim has been to reach the country’s harder-to-access communities that are not supported by other initiatives of this kind. 📈
The project’s latest action came in response to a critical situation—it mobilized hundreds of helping hands to aid people affected by flash floods in the commune of Roșia Montană. A truck 🚛 loaded with food and essential goods—1,200 bags—reached the disaster-stricken residents in record time 🥇.
